When a helicopter crash kills his parents, a young boy is lost in the remote African jungle. He is rescued by Kala, a gentle ape who raises him as her own for the next fourteen years. When Tarzan encounters pretty teenager, Jane Porter, his world is forever changed. He must come to terms with his first human contact; battle a new tribe leader and save them all from the threat of a man-made ecological disaster.
