One of my favourite places to shop is the Finders Keepers Market and I look forward to checking out the latest independent art and design products when the market hits Melbourne twice a year.
Last weekend’s market was a treasure trove of gorgeous goodies, but I’ve picked my five favourites, to share with you.
SUNDAY the label creates hand printed children’s wear, lifestyle and home decor products. Based here in Melbourne, this label, has some seriously funky threads for you AND your little ones. Forget pink for girls and blue for boys – here you’ll find black, white, berry and tan.
Otto & Spike have been knitting in East Brunswick for more than 40 years. This family run business, makes THE most gorgeous blankets and they also make some mighty fine beanies, gloves and scarfs.
Homely Creatures create ‘cute things for the home’. In fact, everything is so cute, you’ll want it all. The range includes prints, cushions, blankets, wall hangings, rugs and wall decals to decorate your little one’s room.
Cunliffe & Waters produce DELICIOUS jams, sauces, relishes, chutneys and meringues. I’ve been using their products for the past few years and they are definitely favourites in this house.
Little Quarters illustrations are created by a dreamer for dreamers. Sarah’s illustration work of wild animals, skulls, feathers, bohemian beauties and enchanting flowers are a mad mix of whimsical meets dark and edgy.
Do yourself a favour and pop over and check out these fabulous local businesses.
You can thank me later 🙂
